I’ve got some exciting announcements to share with you. Keep reading for more info!

I’ve got some exciting news to share with you. When I logged into WordPress this morning I was told that it had been three years since I first started writing Brendon The Smiling Chef. Looking back on the last three years, I can’t help but smile at the amazing opportunities that have come about in writing this blog. I’ve collaborated with many talented foodies and photographers, interviewed my foodie heroes Simon Bryant, Renae Smith and Richard Barassi and took part in some amazing competitions.

A few weeks ago I entered Menulog’s Food Lover Blog Awards which is in its second year. I am very proud to announce that Smiling Chef has won in the category The Chef: Best Blog for Recipes. I couldn’t believe it when I found out. Congratulations to Missy Ness’ Food Train of Thought for winning The People’s Champ category for the second year in the running and Wait! The camera eats first! for The Foodie: Best All-Rounder Food Blog. You can read more about the awards and the winners here.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me in the lead-up to the announcement. I really appreciate your support over the years and I look forward to bringing you some delicious recipes in the months and years ahead.

Happy Cooking and Keep Smiling,

Brendon 🙂
